LeapIQ / children and consent
Parents stay part of the process
Recreational gymnastics is in the planned scope of LeapIQ. The child-data workflow is not yet available. Before it can be used, the proposed studio activity must pass legal review and the parental-consent process must be implemented.
The planned process verifies the parent or guardian, links them to the correct child and explains the recording, analysis and sharing purpose before asking for consent. A studio roster entry or a sign-in through another app is not parental consent.
Parents will see only their own child's approved feedback. Coaches will see their assigned classes. Reports reach parents only after coach review. Shared clips must have faces blurred, and face recognition is outside the first version.
Parents can ask to see or correct information, withdraw consent or request deletion. Changes to a guardian relationship must be verified before access changes. Separate gallery or cloud-backup copies are outside the app's deletion controls.
Questions about the proposed process can be sent to [email protected].
